Owner / Consultant
Founder of Job Fit in 2005, Andrew's focus is providing businesses with preventative services to help them manage injuries in a proactive environment. Andrew has completed his Bachelor degrees at the University of Ballarat. Since completing his degrees he has continued his studies in OH&S. He is also a Vic Fit accredited Personal Trainer.
In the time Job Fit has provided its injury prevention services, Andrew has many ongoing relationships within a number of different industries. Some of these clients include: Hella Australia, Banyule City Council, Princes Laundry, Alsco, Cabrini Health, Cabrini Linen Services, and Royal Children’s Hospital. He believes in working closely with both employers and employees to provide the utmost professional and accurate services for his clients.
Andrew’s background in human movement and personal training along with his knowledge in OHS makes his skills very unique. He combines biomechanics with safety in his training programs to ensure his clients and their employees are trained well and understand the importance of proper preparation and manual handling techniques to prevent injuries. Andrew’s approach to workplace assessments is second to none. The details provided in his reports are an asset to any company searching to improve their safety and return to work processes.
Paul Newbery
Business Planning
Whilst he is not engaged in Job Fit business planning or operations, Paul Newbery is employed as General Manager of a medium enterprise business to business service organisation. He has served fifteen years in this role having previously performed the various line managers' roles of Service Manager, Plant Manager and Projects Manager within this same organisation.
Paul has a military background having started his working life with the Australian Regular Army where he served eight years and achieved the rank of Sergeant.
Paul's ongoing contributions to the success of Job Fit are in the areas of business planning, process development and product development.
Paul uses the services of Job Fit within the medium enterprise he manages.
